All you need is your dialup userid and password, and the phone number
for your computer to dial. If you don't remember your userid or password,
just contact us.

To setup a new Dialup Networking Connection in Windows XP,
first go to your Windows Control Panel
(you can get there through "My Computer" or click Start, then Settings).

Go to Network Connections
(or "Network and Internet Connections," then "Network Connections"
under "Pick a Control Panel Icon").

Click "Create a new connection" or click File-->New Connection.

A box should say "Welcome to the New Connection Wizard." Click next.

Check "Connect to the Internet" and click Next.

Check "Set up my connection manually" and click Next.

Check "Connect using a dialup modem" and click Next.

Type "Net Wizards" in the ISP Name box and click Next.

Type the phone number your computer needs to dial.

If you need to dial 9 to get an outside extension, type a nine then a
comma: "9, " and then the number.

Click next, and then enter your user and your password. Select or unselect
any options you want. Click Next.

You may want to click "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop."
Click Finish.

That's it! Just use this icon to connect to the internet.

Advanced Settings

Right-click on your dialup networking connection in Network Connections and select Properties. Click the Networking tab. Go to the properties for TCP/IP. Make sure it has "Obtain and IP Address automatically" and "Obtain DNS
servers automatically."
